CATAL Interventions delivers a Driving Standards Agency approved course which is delivered currently to persons convicted of a drink driving offence which aims to raise each participant’s awareness of the numerous ways in which alcohol can have a negative effect on driving ability even at low levels below the legal drink drive limit.
We run an engaging participant centred course, delivered in a relaxed and informal style without being judgemental. CATAL Interventions recognise that this offence happens for a multitude of reasons and aim to address these in a safe environment.
Topics covered over the duration of the course include;
- Unit Management
- Details of the High Risk Offender Scheme
- Alcohol and Driving Ability
- Driver Behaviour and Recognising Risk
This training is equally important to all drivers as it equips them to manage their drinking to ensure that they do not commit the same offence again
